Class Description
This class introduces young students to the basics of design and painting, with a special emphasis on strengthening drawing skills. Students work with lines, shapes, and perspective, practicing drawing still life, live models, and from imagination. In the painting section, they learn various techniques such as color blending, brush control, and layering using acrylic paints on canvas, pastels, and watercolor. This experience helps children develop proficiency in all of these techniques while enhancing their creativity and technical growth.

About the Instructor
Saeideh Rashidy, known as Jey, is a painter and art instructor with over 30 years of experience, specializing in oil, acrylic, pastel, and watercolor. She founded Kagoosh Art Studio in 2006 and has taught over 750 students. Now based in Canada, Jey continues to inspire artists as a member of North Van Arts.
