Class Description
This class is designed for students with a basic knowledge of drawing who want to explore the expressive world of pastel painting. Learners will first get familiar with different types of pastels, paper textures, and blending techniques. The course begins with simple models, focusing on layering, shading, and color mixing. As students progress, they will work on more detailed compositions, enhancing their ability to create depth and texture with pastels.

About the Instructor
Saeideh Rashidy, known as Jey, is a painter and art instructor with over 30 years of experience, specializing in oil, acrylic, pastel, and watercolor. She founded Kagoosh Art Studio in 2006 and has taught over 750 students. Now based in Canada, Jey continues to inspire artists as a member of North Van Arts.
