Welcome to Jey Art Studio, your destination for art in North Vancouver. Conveniently located on Lonsdale Avenue, we offer hands-on painting and drawing classes for all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners. Whether you’re exploring a new hobby or refining your skills, our studio is the perfect place to bring your artistic vision to life.
Founded by Saeideh Rashidi (Jey), an accomplished artist with over 30 years of experience, the studio blends model-based instruction with personalized guidance. Jey specializes in techniques like oil, acrylic, pastel, and watercolor, helping students create professional-quality artwork. Many of our learners have even sold their finished pieces at exhibitions and shows, turning their passion into a rewarding investment.
In addition to painting and drawing, we offer pottery classes for kids aged 7-13, painting on suede, and music classes featuring guitar, Setar, and Avaaz (Persian traditional singing). These unique offerings make Jey Art Studio a hub for diverse artistic exploration.

The Founder
Saeideh Rashidy Jey
Saeideh Rashidi, known as Jey, born in Tehran, is a painter and instructor. Her paintings were welcomed by those around her during her teenage years. Jey started from the age 10 learning art from renown masters. Jey is educated of painting from Tehran Art Faculty. During all these years Jey has experience different techniques such as oil, acrylic, pastel and water color.
Most of Jey’s paintings are close to realism and impressionism.
Some of Jey’s oil paintings have been published by well-known publications in Iran.
Jey has attended more than 10 National Art Fairs individually and as a group between 2004-14 and Tehran EXPO 2007 and 2009. And participated a number of relief painting fair in Dubai.
Jey was a member of Iranian Society of Art since 2004.
In 2006, Jey established the Kagoosh School of Visual Arts in Tehran and taught oil painting, drawing, pastel, and watercolor to many students during those ten years.
In 2016, Jey immigrated to Canada where she worked in several art schools as an art instructor and has inspired many painting lovers. At the moment Jey is the member of North Van ARTS.
